Nakhon Ratchasima Airport (NAK), is an airport serving Nakhon Ratchasima Province, also known as Khorat, in the northeaster Isan region.
The airport is about 26 kilometers out from the center of the city.
Converted from a Royal Thai Air Force Base 1992 it has basic services including a small refreshements area.
Private taxis and shuttle buses into town can be organised when you land. A rental cars should be orgainsed before your trip if you want to pick it up at the airport. There are separate areas for short term and long stay parking. Both are monitored by CCTV and security patrols.
New Gen Airways has plans to offer flights to Seoul and, as yet unamed cities in China, but currently, there are no domestic flights in operation.
